Our Structure
SAYFC’s current structure was established to allow for focus on the strategic development of the association as a whole whilst still maintaining our connections down to our grassroots members.
Our Board of Trustees is supported by a Senior Leadership team which consists of National & Regional Committee Chairs.
With year end approaching we currently have opportunities for members to apply for positions on both our board and our Senior Leadership Team.
National Committees
In 2021 six National Committees were formed replacing the former SAYFC National Council. Each committee is led by current members, supported by SAYFC staff to ensure we meet the needs of current and future members.
Each Committee meet a minimum of four times per year, with a mix of Zoom and in person meetings.

Office Bearer Roles
Committees throughout all levels of the Association are guided and led by Office Bearers. The people in these positions are responsible for ensuring the committees are performing their role in the association to the best of their ability and delivering the best for our membership.

Member Trustees
This Year the association is recruiting 3 Member Trustees to the Board of trustees.
These positions will be elected at the AGM by new & the standing down national committees and SLT members.
