SAYFC have completed our plans to recruit new trustees to SAYFC’s Board of Trustees following a comprehensive review of the current format.Β Β Positions are available for both SAYFC members and non members.
This change in structure, evolved during a training programme for existing trustees.Β Β The new Board of Trustees will be supported by a Senior Leadership team which will consist of National & Regional Committee Chairs.Β Previously these roles acted as the trustees of the Association.
This new structure will allow more focus on the strategic development of the Association and Governance.
In 2021 six National Committees were formed replacing the former SAYFC National Council. Each committee is led by current members, supported by SAYFC staff to ensure we meet the needs of current and future members.
Each Committee meet a minimum of four times per year, with a mix of Zoom and in person meetings.
Committees throughout all levels of the Association are guided and led by Office Bearers. The people in these positions are responsible for ensuring the committees are performing their role in the association to the best of their ability and delivering the best for our membership.
