10 Oct East “Try” Out Touch Rugby

On Sunday 8th October 2023 The East region braved the rain (and floods) and held their first ever mixed touch rugby tournament. With 9 teams entered it was busy tournament full of tackles and try’s. A big thank you must go to Jake Mirley and Clark Young who stepped in last minute to referee the event and helped keep all the competitors in line. Overlooked by East duo Jillian and James and chief steward Emma Grey, the day ran swimmingly with only a couple of rain showers. The results are as follows:

1st Place – East Lothian JAC

2nd Place – Border Fed District

3rd Place – Perthshire & Lothian & Pebbles (mixed district team)
