Fantastic Photos in the North

The North Region Photography Competition was held during February with fantastic entries being received from all over the region.

Our judge was Amy Ferguson of AF Photography, Turriff and she was very impressed by all the entries, our members certainly made her job very difficult! Thank you to everyone who entered. Please see the results and judges comments below:

Senior – Best of home

1st Dani Simmers, Kinneff – what an outstanding photo. I absolutely love the blackout to enhance the horses featured.

2nd Amanda Slater, Shetland – beautifully captured horse at the lake in snow.

3rd Aimee Budge, Shetland – what amazing an view and light with a beautiful dog!

Senior Entries- New beginnings – wow what entries!! 

Joint 1st – These two photos are beyond perfect

Niamh Omand Smith, Echt – flowers- excellent back lit photo of the true meaning of new beginnings. An outstanding photograph- well done!

Sophie Scott, Kinneff – Mum and Baby- this to me is the heart of spring- well done. Beautiful connection with fantastic lighting.

2nd  Sally Glennie, Vale of Alford – brilliant beyond words, mum and her babies

3rd Sophie Scott, Kinneff – beautiful bambi in fantastic focus with a brilliant depth of field.
