Highland Young Farmers Taste the Amber Nectar

On Saturday 24th February Highland members attended the North Region’s Highland Day.

The day was kicked off with a tour of Clynelish Distillery in Brora. They got to see the Process of the whisky from store to glass and the over 18’s were even lucky enough to taste sample at the end. The tour was very interactive and lots of information gained.

In the afternoon members headed to Roller Bowl in Inverness for the concluding part of the day, the Ten Pin Bowling Competition.

Results as follows:

1st Team – Bower A (Ben Mackinnon, Don Swanson, Abbie Gunn & Jayden Alexander)

2nd Team – Bower B (Kieran Mackay, Sophie Gunn, Lexie Swanson & Isla Mackay)
