Rural Youth Europe and Five Nations Conference

Through the partnership with Rural Youth Europe, SAYFC can offer three events designed to develop and applicants’ skills.

The European Rally is a unique opportunity to meet numerous fellow European Young Farmers, discuss and explore topical issues whilst representing and showcasing Scotland.

The Autumn and Spring seminars each have a different topical focus which aims to develop the skills, knowledge and confidence of attendees.

Alongside this the 5 Nations (Scotland, Northern Ireland, Wales, England and Ireland) run an annual conference each year to allow members to connect and learn together.

Solo Travel

For the past 70 years, the solo travel programme has been developed with the help of other Rural Youth and Young Farmer organisations to become the cornerstone of SAYFCs international programme.

The Solo Travel programme allows the traveller to immerse themselves into a different culture by staying with host families and will create friendships that last a lifetime.

Group Travel

The Group Travel programme allows travellers to experience different countries as part of a large group on a prepared travel plan.

In the past years the Group Travel programme has visited diverse locations such as Morocco, India and Vietnam. Trips are available for both Summer and Winter months.

SAYFC also offer a ski trip which offers a more relaxed atmosphere and can be attended by any grade of skier.
