North Junior Speechmaking and Junior Quiz Finalists

The weekend saw various teams from the North Region head to Edinburgh to compete at the national finals of Junior Speechmaking and Junior Quiz. The North Region Junior Speechmaking finals were also held at this time and the results were as follows:

1st Harray Young Farmers (Robbie Hewison, Jayden Taylor and Jack Leitch) with speech titled ‘The new norm’

2nd East Mainland A (Charlotte Hume, Grace Harcus and Zoe Dearness) ‘Backing British farming’

3rd East Mainland B (Isla Donaldson, Magnus Risbridger and Erika Poke) ‘The importance of being sporting’
