North Perthfect Weekend
The North’s Perthfect Weekend 2025 was held in Perth from Friday 14th February to Sunday 16th February.
Forty Delegates from across the North Region gathered to enjoy the new format of the North Conference.
On Friday evening the group headed to Ego Night club dressed as ‘Scottish Icons’ for a Games Night, run by our North Chair, Euan Bremner. This encouraged the members to mix and get to know people out with their districts. Best dressed went to Brodie Bain of Keith and District Young Farmers.
On Saturday morning delegates headed to the Ice Rink to show off their best Ice skating skills, although support penguins seemed to be needed at times, the members had a great time and all managed off the ice in one piece!
The team then headed to Gloagburn Farm for a tour and to meet Crawford from the famous YouTube videos ‘Crawford’s Farm’. This proved very informative and members enjoyed hearing about their business and how it works.
Later on, the members headed to East Cabaret at Perth Concert Hall. The delegates were blown away by the effort and talent they saw on the stage from the East Young Farmer Members.
In the future, we hope to bring ‘Northern Spotlights’ back to the North Calendar and this trip away has helped to start the process.
Proceedings came to a close on Sunday with members meeting before packing up and heading home after enjoying an interesting and varied weekend.
