North Region Quiz

Our North Region Quiz finals were held on Friday evening (25th Feb) in The Leys Hotel, Blackburn just before the excitment of the National Competitions weekend kicked off in Aberdeen!

Clubs from seven of our eight north districts joined in person and via zoom to test their knowledge on Sports, Scotland, Entertainment, Geography & History, General Knowledge and Pictures.

Results are as follows: First place were Sandwick’s team of Nicky Moar, Cody Chalmers, Steven Grieve and Jessica Rendall scoring 45 points, Second equal were Mearns YF and Bower YF with 43 points and in Third place were Nairn with 39 points. Bower then went forward to represent the North at the National finals in Aberdeen. Other teams competing were: Vale of Alford (38 points), Strathbogie (35.5) and Turriff (34).
