I am originally from Ayrshire and in 2017 moved to another beef farm in Fife. I am in my final year of secondary, and am going on to study animal science at SRUC Edinburgh after the summer.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Can you tell us about your YF experience?<\/strong><br \/>\nI was encouraged to join young farmers by my dad, aunts and cousins. So far I have taken part in many meetings, events and competitions at club, district and national levels.<\/p>\n<p>My highlights have included UA calf overwintering, hockey and junior speechmaking. As time is going on, I am making more friends both in the club and the district. The National competitions have allowed me to meet members from all over Scotland.<\/p>\n<p>Being in Young Farmer&#8217;s has increased my confidence and given me new skills.
