Hannah Arbuckle \u2013 Bell Baxter ADS"},"content":{"rendered":"<div dir=\"auto\">\n<p><strong><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-17737 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/www.sayfc.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2024\/05\/Hannah-Ajpg-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/>Hannah Arbuckle \u2013 Bell Baxter ADS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>What is your story away from YF?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Hi, I\u2019m Hannah Arbuckle from Lower Luthrie Farm which is near Cupar in Fife.\u00a0 I\u2019m just finishing S3 at Bell Baxter High School.\u00a0 I spend a lot of my time helping at home on our beef farm.\u00a0 I love the cattle and I also enjoy doing tractor work.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Why did you join?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I joined Bell Baxter ADS last spring, as soon as I turned 14.\u00a0 My mum had told me about all the fun she had in young farmers when she was younger and I decided I\u2019d like to get involved.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>What have you got out of YF?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I\u2019ve had a fantastic time at young farmers over the last year and I\u2019ve taken part in a huge variety of different activities and competitions including stockjudging, go carting, East Region cabaret, produce show and various sports.\u00a0 I\u2019m currently training with the Fife and Kinross District tug of war team and looking forward to the upcoming competitions.\u00a0 At the recent 90<sup>th<\/sup> Anniversary dinner dance of Bell Baxter ADS, as the youngest member of the club, I cut the cake with the oldest past member.\u00a0 This was a very special moment as my mum did the same 30 years ago at the club\u2019s 60<sup>th<\/sup> Anniversary dinner dance.\u00a0 I was also delighted to be awarded the Kenneth Wilson Quaich which is for the junior member who has contributed the most to the club in the last year.\u00a0 I\u2019m loving young farmers and in the short time I\u2019ve been involved, I\u2019ve had so much fun, tried new activities and made lots of new friends.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>What do you want to get out of YF in the future?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I\u2019m looking forward to taking part in lots more young farmers\u2019 events and meeting more members.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Random fact?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I\u2019ve got a pet cow who\u2019s just turned 21, we had a wee party for her!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span dir=\"auto\"><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We&#8217;re putting our New Members in the Spotlight, asking them about their YF experience and their hopes for the future.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":63,"featured_media":17737,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"footnotes":""},"categories":[1],"tags":[],"venue":[],"class_list":["post-17736","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-uncategorized"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v24.2 - https:\/\/yoast.com\/wordpress\/plugins\/seo\/ -->\n<title>New Members Spotlight!
