Bower Young Farmer, Ranald Angus –<\/strong> has this week been granted a place on 2021’s\u00a0Nuffield Farming Scholarships Trust<\/strong><\/a> programme.<\/p>\n The Nuffield Farming Scholarships Trust annually award selected scholars a twelve thousand pounds grant to travel around the world to study a topic that will influence positive change in agriculture. Through his time in SAYFC, Ranald saw first hand the inspirational work done by the NFST<\/a> and is now being welcomed into this great organisation.<\/p>\n He will now start to study his chosen topic of “Finding a mechanism to financially incentivise farmers to sequester carbon back into the soil.”<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n Ranald mentioned to SAYFC:\u00a0<\/strong>
